Description I am not sure how I feel about this photograph.
It's very dark for me...but it made me sad...and caught my eye...

This is exactly how I found it...broken.

I have a picture just like this from a cemetery in France. Things fall into disrepair; people, graves, and religions.

great shot. you are an amazing artist and i will keep commenting on your works tonight. Even if this is the fault of mother nature i still get annoyed by people who vandalise graves and statues, no respect for human beings of the past, they wouldnt do it if the people were alive, if they did they must be pure assholes, although they are anyway, people would kick their ass if they seen them. Excellent capture and sorry for raving.

keep it up vk

i don't really bother with worrying about the sybollism involved because it's a waste of time. i just think the photo is good.

I was in New Mexico 2 weeks ago, and i found some old family cemetary (not my family) that had tons of crosses that were crumbled, unkept, and dismembered. They all reminded me somewhat of this photo. I took about 8-10 shots there. The roll stoped forwarding the film a little after shot 10, so all of the pictures from then on were ruined.

The point of this little... SHPEAL, is that i would have been very pleased if any one of them came away half as good as this. amazing work.

I like it...it's beautiful in sorta a dark way...like showing how something meant to be respectful can turn around and fall apart...some kind of symbolization i cant really put into words...

Wow, stunning photo.

I get a feeling of peacefullness from this photo. Almost as if the cross has been standing for hundreds of years, and then finally allowed to rest, embracing the person beneath it.

Anything I would say here would just repeat the feelings already expressed.
Sadness...anger...outrage...shame...pain .

I'll never understand why some feel the need to do this kind of thing. Instead of paying respect to the past, to those who've gone before us, they have to destroy what they don't understand.

Sigh...

...it's a great photo, m'dear. You do capture feelings well.

Molto triste ma forte, per dirla come tomgehrke,
per questo la mia di tombe non dovrà avere lapidi,
solo un bel vaso dove mettere ceneri da spargere
in mare.

Ottima foto, davvero.
