Ok...so I like drawing girls...sue me!!
This is Lara * pullmyheartstrings photographed by Sarah ~cellointhbasemnt they are both extremely talented and sooooo much fun to draw!! (pretty pretty!). When I saw their galleries I couldn't stop drawing them...so...I am sure I will submit more portraits of them.
This photo was pretty perfect...I didn't want to change anything at all about it (so I guess there is no credits for creativity here)...but the lighting and the little details were a big challenge...I loved working on it...

Hah, found it. ^^ I saw this thing when it was a daily deviation, ages ago, and then I couldn't find it again. This was what inspired me to do photorealism.

I don't know why I haven't commented on this before! It's stunning. You've succeeded brilliantly in the use of colors, they are a very important part of making this painting what it is. Her hair is extreeemely well done, it looks so light and just like real hair. The darkness taking over from the left is done very well. I think the lips look good, but lack some texture..also the eyes look a bit artificial. This doesn't bother me at all though, the painting is just so damn good.

mm, very nicely done, i don't know how people do this so well, i especially like the eyes, you seem to be good at drawing eyes, you knwo some eyes have imperfections ebsides being crossed... in a couple months if i'm lucky i might have a really nice camera to get a close and clear picture of my eyes to show the world just what i mean, maybe end this reign of terror of perfect irises and show to the world how cool eyes can be...

This is so very excellent. I'm a sucker for good negative space usage, and you used it very very well. They eyes in this are so expressive, and thats something thats really hard to capture. Kudos to you. The detail on her hair too....thats fucking killer.
