Ok...so I like drawing girls...sue me!!
This is Lara * pullmyheartstrings photographed by Sarah ~cellointhbasemnt they are both extremely talented and sooooo much fun to draw!! (pretty pretty!). When I saw their galleries I couldn't stop drawing them...so...I am sure I will submit more portraits of them.
This photo was pretty perfect...I didn't want to change anything at all about it (so I guess there is no credits for creativity here)...but the lighting and the little details were a big challenge...I loved working on it...

excellent job tara, this is almost photo-realistic!
the only detail that is a little different is the lips... good job with the piercing, they eyes and the hair.

werd I was so sure I was looking at a photograph
then I realised...vk doesnt take pictures......
I have been bugging dear old digi to help me do teh skin for something im working on
but he makes 10 layers a second and goes super fast so I just ripped the mouse out of his hand and opened cs for him instead ^_^
so all ive got done is well.... hair.. and event hen v_v'

This is beatuiful, babe. I love how clear and detailed the eyes are. And the hair looks great. When I see a gorgeous, clean, creamy digital portrait with delicious skintones, I know it must be Tara.

WoW!! Ive been waiting for so long for you to submit something...and I'm definitely not disappointed Tara....you do the original photo such justice...amazing realism 
(Oh and I was just wondering if you could give me some tips on how to paint realistic-looking hair)

The credit and merit are in what you've given to the art. I don't think I'm alone in saying that what you give in your art is magic that only a true art lover, with no hang-ups, can enjoy. As I do. 
The skin is a wonderful tone and kept beautiful in your painting of light and shadow.
The hair, one of the hardest things for any artist to do, is awe inspiring.
The eyes are simply mesmerizing with the amount of detail you put into them.
And in painting the metal!!!! Wow... I'm amazed at your wonderful ability to paint metal surfaces alone... But you've also followed the lights, shadows and reflections. Simply amazed.
