Awesome. What is this (from a mathematical point of view) ?

From mathematical point of view it is tessellation of 2D Riemann sphere by group of reflections of 3D hyperbolic space (the 3D Poincare ball inside of the sphere). The Riemann sphere is stereographically projected to the plane.

Interesting piece indeed!
I like those little eyed shapes, I find them really cute! (look like little fishes
)
Also the colours: even if you used only few tints, it results very colourful. Congratulations!
(may I ask what program you use? )

Oh My God! Your work is always amazing but this blew my mind. I just stared and stared and stared at the animation, which moves and yet does not move. Outstanding!

Thanks a lot!
I was surprised myself. I just expected to get row of yellow fish to swim from right to left. That's all. However, the effect I've got is very much different. Your description "moves and does not move" is my impression as well.

very high quality image, and a geometrically interesting tessellation... well done
