concept/test for chapter 1 page 1...there would be a prologue before that, though.
I'm probably not going to start the real comic soon, but I might draw some random pages just for the sake of trying out stuff.
I must admit that this didn't turn out the way I wanted it to at all x-x
that's our protagonist having a nightmare of hell. this is before he formed a contract with the devil x3

Personally, I think you did an amazing job. You blended the colours perfectly to create an alluring look. I love how you created the skulls and shaded the dark with the light. Your line art works perfectly with your blend. The way you created the comic layout is awesome and original. I don't see people doing this style very much and I like it a lot! The final frame is positioned perfectly! And again I love how you created that background frame from the first blending down with the final. The text you incorporated with your art fits it just a well. It's obvious I really like it. I absolutely love the style your bringing in your work. I can't wait to see more from you! Great Job! I was very insecure about the layout, as I don't really have experience in layouting/comics, so hearing that it isn't unpleasant to look at really gives me a boost in confidence to continue pursuing this style! ^-^
another worry was that the text was illegible or in the way, so thanks for commenting on thet, too! ^^
I'll be sure to upload more pages when I get the time to work on them =)

the expression was a challenge x3
I wanted to show him just jolting awake from that nightmare.. so his expresion isn't played down to look cooler and he hasn't gotten the nerve to really be pissed just yet x3
