I really wanted to draw Topaz again, and needed a pic with two of my favorite teenies so lo and behold, this drawing was born! Topaz is such a curious goo creature, they/I can't help but gobble down their squirmy companions any chance they get! Pearl ( ) is used to it. Alex, ( ), not so much! He's all whiny, and Pearl is just kinda taking it.(If you guys don't remember, Topaz is a goo thing with no concept of gender and therefore is void of gender.)

Hmmm I don't know! It depends on how you taste that day. There aren't many things Topaz DOESN'T like the taste of, they're really sensitive to it and are fascinated by flavor.

They do not have taste buds! But their inner material can feel/taste/small/etc. whatever it comes in contact with. So if Topaz absorbed Pearl INTO their goo, they would be able to taste her. Topaz's outside membrane though is very durable, and doesn't have as strong receptors. (Kinda like the callused skin on your heels vs how sensitive your skin is when it is exposed, though it isn't painful for Topaz when things touch their inner goo.
