The epiglottis is in the down position while the pred is swallowing, and therefore is hidden behind both the arm and the rest of the flesh that is constricting around the arm. Even in the open position though, this would be too high up to even see anything but the very tip of the epiglottis. Learn more about anatomy before criticizing someone about it.
