Description
Another quick sketch I did, and don't worry, this isn't vent art, this was actually something I've been meaning to make for a little while. I've mentioned before in Vortex's reference sheet that she does have a side to her that's rarely ever seen, and for good reason, but never have I properly shown how she looks during that state other than some minor doodles. Other than her eyes having slit pupils, while this is not colored, her fur does turns a slightly darker shade and puts so much power into her claws, they seem to glow slightly.

Vortex is normally a very calm individual but if she experiences unbearable stress or something traumatic either physically or emotionally, then this side of her can appear. Her strength and speed goes far beyond their normal limits, at the cost of all judgement and reason, and unable to even speak, making her unpredictable and dangerous to anybody around her, including herself. It's a double-edged sword, once the rage subsides, she is extremely vulnerable due to the strain. The very first instance being during Vortex's and Tyler's first encounter, even though they didn't know each other, her believing she just witnessed somebody else die (He didn't but he was in critical condition) caused this state of rage to appear and managed to fend off his attackers, they did escape but none of them went unscathed, and managed to save him, the large scar on his back being the only reminder of that encounter.

Not that Vortex can remember that, in this state, anything she does becomes a haze to her, only recalling that she 'blacked out' and got him to the hospital once the rage subsided, passing out soon after due to the strain of using rage. Only in later instances does she learn of this state, and she does greatly fear of losing control and hurting those close to her or somebody innocent. But thankfully, that hasn't been the case for now.
