While I myself do watch JonTron's videos, I do honestly think Playtonic Games was fully in their right to remove him due to the controversial and rather racist sounding statements he did, I know I wasn't comfortable with those statements myself, they are still a business themselves and just because it's his beliefs, they can still affect those he worked with. Just like any business with a bad employee, it will reflect badly on them and appear as if they are supportive of those statements when they are not, this also goes for guest supporters.

Boycotting a game just because of the replacement of one voice actor kinda undermines all the work many people put to make this game.

What the company ended up saying through the removal of Jon was simply this: "if you don't share the modern regressive lefts agenda then you don't matter as a human being. Tow the liberal line or GTFO."
I mean it would be kinda the same if a cashier said they didint like a race or one of the hundreds of made up, fake genders out there on his personal social media, then the next day getting fired. That's thought policing, that's Orwellian horror story shit right there.

I don't quite see how politics fit into this, nor have I seen any evidence about how it has to do with lefts or rights or whichever parties there are, I never understood politics, it never has been of any interest to me nor do I care for any of it, all it ever does is cause tension and hate. However, Jontron is a large Youtuber with a big following, he should have been fully aware of the risks and consequences of saying things like this.

Not only that, Jontron did indeed fully accept and understand why he was removed, he had no ill will toward that. It's not like what he said didn't actually do anything, it does directly affect them, and I do know there are indeed people who were not at all comfortable with the statements he made, diversity and race have been a rather debated issue as of late. There would no doubt have had people not wanting to support the game if they felt Platonic was agreeing with his beliefs if they kept him in. So would it have been better to keep him in and risk losing sales because they might seem as if they are supporting his statements or just simply remove him altogether to lessen the risk?
