I made this wallpaper a while ago, like a month ago at least. Anyways here it is now, and I've also spawned a few different colour versions of it (with additional tweaks) so I'll upload that pack soon. I made this with the help of a fractal too. The fractal helped make the effect possible, I might post it up standalone some time. The rest is just Photoshop magic. It's pretty nifty, as it looks like the center has dragons (the long flying graceful type) flying around in a circular pattern.Edit: Woohoo, daily deviation! Thanks all for the wonderful comments and favourites! And thanks to PunkIn-Kitty for suggesting it!

It looks kind of like I'm staring into some sort of digital, technological inferno even... it could be darker but its still awesome work.
Better yet, it fits my desktop resolution!

This is a truly beautiful effect you have achieved.
What I like is that the design has a little assymetry to it and a couple nice, sharply bent lines which give the impression of dragon wings radiating outwards from the fire in the center.
Would you mind explaining the fractal effect? Are you using photoshop filters or 3d software to generate them?

The fractal effect was basically thanks to a fractal I made in Apophysis. I then blended it accordingly and also duplicated it once to make a complete circle. The rest is all Photoshop filters just blended in right to give the wallpaper more substance. All the colour came from the fractal as the rest of the layers were black and white due to the usage of chrome on lens flare to get the smoother circles as well as the faint outer rings, a lot of duplication of layers was involved in those to achieve symmetry.

That's really great. It's my favourite type of wallpaper. What I especially like is the thing that it's not too symmetric as you could expect from a wallpaper like this. Great work!
