Description Page 23 of a comic strip I am working on that is set in ancient Rome and is about the early life of Gaius Julius Caesar.

We take a break from Caesar and Rome and return to Sulla's camp as he marches with his army up the Italian Peninsula...

per McCullough it was the deadly Asia Minor sun that ruined his complexion and the Diabetes that made him lose his eyesight and hair and made his skin hang like an old man's after the weight loss...I like the Svlla name plate necklaces!

Well done!
To bad Sulla did not age that well... but maybe it was a punishment of the God's for such a vein man. Afterall, he was a real badguy, especially in his younger years. He later became and evil dictator. Maybe because he was angry his once so beautiful face became horribley disfigured (according to the novels of Colleen McCullough)? Well, he was a cool guy anyway. Interesting figure.

"No better friend, no worse enemy" - is said to have been his epitath, that says enough doesn't it?
