Description Well, Airrider1's uploading of [link] reminded me of this piece that almost fell into obscurity.

To understand this, I must link you to this old piece.

Of course, such a place as The Wall, even in its derelict state, needs some denizens. And a good ammount of those denizens are called 'Synths'.
Synths are basically artificial, vat-grown humanoids with a series of genetic modifications to allow them to perform a variety of tasks like projecting holograms, doing psychic registers, conduct maintenance on The Wall, etcetera. They are basically the robots of that age, and have long replaced their non-organic peers.

Of course, something has to make synths. And that task is in the hands of the synth Genetor Matriarch*, tasked with the important job of creating life out of proteins. Grown in areas with little to no gravity, these Matriarchs have long, thin bodies and normally float slightly above the surface using a combination of psionics and technology I'm not fully equipped to explain. With their long and skinny fingers they "sew" the proteins and DNA on a nanoscopic scale, until it starts to self-replicate in what becomes a population of billions of synths over decades. When they're done, they move onto the next genome. In blunt terms they are the helpers of the 251st millenia's god-like scientists.

Alpharia is just one of the millions of Genetor Matriarchs, not much of a character so to speak but I wanted to give her some kind of name both scientific and angelical. I think I managed to give her the flowy, smooth look I was going for.

*Genetor being a term sporked from Warhammer 40,000, referring to a geneticist.
