Description
This is the megacity of Summit, the de facto capital of the huge space station known as The Wall [link] . The title is a little vague and meaningless, seeing that most of the population don't even know Summit exists despite the city covering an area equivalent to the surface of the earth and the moon put together; and the residents of Summit ignore if there are any other cities claiming to be the capital.
However, the title of capital comes from the fact it's older than what the memory of man or machine can endure, having been founded hundreds of millenia ago. Some even claim its older than The Wall itself, and some see the massive city as a deity on itself.

This is what you would call the downtown, a huge spire as tall as three moons stacked up, although the enormous space elevator portruding from the city goes on for millions of kilometers further, going past the orbit of Mars, and being a monumental city by itself. Curiously, even the scientific elite of the city ignore where the elevator goes, and those who embark on quests to find out never come back, leading some to believe it ends in heaven, and others believing the construct is infinite. On a more conventional role, the elevator is used to ferry cargo between the orbital cities and Summit.

Summit is actually located inside a huge gallery (which I didn't draw) with many artificial suns for lightning and heating. The industrial ring you see close to the base of the tower houses one of the few remaining industries in the galaxy, which is the manufacturing of a strange metal known as 3-11, which The Wall is made of.
