Talk about an excellent photo. The focus and contrast is too good to resist. +fav, for sure.

There is a bit too much noise in the background for this to be really good. Less fuzz in the background would have brought more focus onto the sushi. The chopsticks have a glaring (they look as if they were burnt or dodged in photoshop) quality that is not too pleasing on the eye.
The concept and composition are fantastic, but it has a few aesthetic errors that keep it from being truly great.

just my 5cents of thought from a regular sushi-eater, a fresh ebi (prawn) shouldn't be so orange in colour. it looks like it is cooked.

i really like the line up of all this, but i'm a bit dissapointed on full view, the pic looked really promising in thumb view in it's dd spot but on full view there is errors, for instance the over exposure on the sticks, no real focal point except at the end of the chopsticks would have looked better if it was more on the shrimps, also the rice is badly blown..and there is much noise.. ):
