Decided to play around with Photoshop brushes as well as masking. I like the outcome... but I hate trees!Anyways, here's Falconkit practicing climbing trees. At first he was a bit stubborn, refusing to climb a tree since "cats aren't squirrels" according to his own words, but when Scalekit challenged him, he was up that tree like lightning. I'll mention PatchyFallenstar as well, just to guarantee that someone sees this and puts me on the list~ Just noticed that when I flipped the image, his white face blaze turned to the wrong side, oops-

The warmer breeze of new leaf made it easier for Scalekit to play outside all day. She loved teasing and wrestling with all the other kits, and recently they'd even had competitions for climbing trees recently. However, after Silkkit hurt her leg, the gray tabby had been avoiding the trees. What if she was like that too? She was supposed to be the greatest warrior there ever was! Shaking the thoughts form her head, Scalekit wandered to the middle of camp, looking around for anything to do. She could bug Cherrypaw, but he was out training now...
"Hmmm." Her teal eyes scanned the camp. She could visit the elders, but she'd memorized most of the stories they told by now. Smilekit was napping, and- Wait, there was Falconkit! She could play with him! A devious smile grew on her face, and she dropped low to the ground, moving forward ever so slowly. Vixenfire had taught her the hunting crouch a while ago, and she love using it.
Falconkit was up ahead, getting closer with each pawstep. After a few more steps, she pounced. "HAA!"

Falconkit had been sitting in his usual spot just outside the entrance of Fallenstar's den, a crevice-like opening in the Moss-Rock where the classic tabby leader would address the Clan. There was very little to do – every cat seemed either busy or, like Fernpaw, was out training. The softest of paw steps caused his ears to swivel, though he did not turn to face it until he heard a triumphant, "Haa!" Instinctively, the brown tabby whipped his head around just as he dropped into a low battle-crouch.
He was used to ambushes like these – Fernpaw seemed to think it was fun to sneak up on him. Only, this time his assailant wasn't the orange-splotched brown tabby she-cat. It was Scalekit. But Falconkit had already swiped upwards in a sharp uppercut, batting the gray tabby she-kit with white markings out of the air, causing her to miss her mark. He felt a grin quirk his lips, his whiskers quivering with amusement, as the she-kit tumbled unceremoniously across the ground. "Did you just try to sneak up on me?" he chuckled. "Who do you think I am? Thymekit?" Falconkit trotted over to her. He hadn't hurt her, of course. His swat was merely to mess her up, and it was a success.
"You okay, mighty warrior?" the tabby meowed, a teasing grin curling his lips upwards.
