VXP... A Modern ClassicAfter months in development I am finally ready to release the final version of the VXP Visual Theme from Maxstyles.com
We have worked hard to make this theme the best it can be and think that you will find it easy on the eyes and easy to use for long periods of time.
We set out to make a more modern classic looking theme and hope that it will turn out to be a classic in the enduring sense of the word.
Icluded are:
14 walls designed to compliment the style.
Explorer bar icons (only aplicable with stylexp (www.tgtsoft.com)
5 Substyles - Compact and regular styles with two different sets of caption buttons for each. Plus one Bonus Style (requested)
Shellstyles for all substyles.
The iChat-VXP skin (By Danimator) For the Trillian Messenger Application.
Rainlender skin and Logon Screen for logonstudio By Athletictrainer1981
and FONTS !! IF U DO NOT INSTALL THE FONTS THE STYLE WILL NOT APPEAR CORRECTLY !!!

Then im not sure... I don't use visual styles anymore, switched to Windowblinds many moons ago. All i can think is the version of XP is no longer compatible, you probably on sp3 by now. but really looks like the fonts aren't installed correctly. sorry wish i could be of more help.

make sure you installed the fonts from the skin folder into the C:/Windows/Fonts folder and reload the skin.

I tried using this theme, and immediately fell in love with it. However, there seems to be a little problem. On the window start menu, there's two "All Program" icon. Actually, it's one top of another. The one in the front has a bigger font. The one in the back has a smaller font.

Certain Folder names get shortened
I created a folder ATI which displays A...
I created a folder called TomTom which displays TomT...
I have installed all the fonts.
Any Ideas?

I'm not a big fan of all of those plastic / glass looking themes and visual styles out there so I figured I'd give this theme a shot. I can't seem to find any other theme I like after trying this one, excellent job! Using this visual style along with the logon screen, WMP skin and the trillian skin. Only thing missing is a bootskin. Is there one available somewhere?

The font in explorer is slight bigger, which causes the file name to be chopped.

all i can suggest is to open it up in stylebuilder and adjust the content margins.. each language has a varying number of letters that make up all programs area.

At some instances (like the titlebars of the inactive windows or form buttons on web pages), the font color is black and the text is not readable with the blue backgrond. The font color must be converted to white wherever the blue background is used.

Hey vStyler,
this is one of the best visual styles I've ever seen and used. A pure ergonomic beauty. I didn't find any bugs either, which is all too common in good looking styles.
Although I do have one wish,
I'd like to see this same exact VS in some totally different color scheme. The style and the graphics are simply so good that it would be nice to have another these like this in different colors.
