Description
The more powerful of the two Alphan laser weapons I designed for Morrigan Press's TTA RPG [link] . This one I really dug the final result, it has a kinda Halo vibe (apt my posting today with the new game a few days off) but it wasn't intentional. The little violet glowy thing is the fuel cell. I imagined the weapon would expand at the top for the user to hold it and fire the triggers comfortably with their Alien hands. The locked safe position is what is shown.Inked pencils digitally colored in Photoshop 7.0

This gun remembers far more a PPG (Phased Plasma Gun) from Babylon 5 or one of those alien weapons from Stargate SG1 than a true laser pistol.

Very good design! I like it. (and yeah, it does remind me of the needler and the plasma shot a bit, but it looks like it might fit human hands as well.)

My thanks. Yup, whether it was in my subconscious or not it is reminiscent of Halo. Fairly different but evokes that stuff a little for sure I think.

Indeed, as I commented, it does have a pseudo Halo vibe but that wasn't my intention nor was I looking at Halo designs at the time. I certainly won't deny I enjoy the Halo games though so possibly it is in there a little subconsciously.

Its hard enough competing for seats against old ladies, kids and crazies to add rats to the list.
Have seen rats on the tracks with and without the reflecting orange suits and have seen rats on the platforms. So far no rats have asked me for change or spare food.
