So finally I can show the colored version of INKtober - Cerberus lineartBefore the first brush stroke I worked on the lineart again and put in a lot of crisscrossing for depth.
It is nearly like I imagined it but I think I will try it again in a months. I am really fond of the background but Lokens armour is way too shiny and clean. But at least I managed to mix colors on the paper for color gradient - yey me!
Several days and hours - didn't count and had many breaks.
Garviel Loken, Horus Heresy and the whole Warhammer universe belongs to Games Workshop.
Hahnemühle mould made paper 220 g with Schmincke colors.

This illustration is really amazing! It has the style of an ancient, medieval illustration from some sacred miniatured book. I love how it is rich of scene levels and details, without being too confused.
The entire scene composition is really good, I'd like to be able to imagine some complex arrangement. XD

Irgendwie hatte ich damit gerechnet, der Höllenhund würde feuerrot oder giftig grün sein… die kurze WoW-Zeit meines Lebens hat mich wohl eingeholt

Hmm..ich denke, das Problem sind zum einen die weißen Glanzflecken auf der Rüstung und zum andern der fehlende Schmutz auf selbiger.
Ich dneke, ich versuch das mal mit dem noch draufklatschen. Und den Hintergrund dunkle ich mit Photoshop runter
