Description So this was the work of the last week. My first primarch figure ever and I DO love the outcome. The colorscheme is based on the painted figure on the forgeworld website.
The figure is a gift for a friend who helped a lot during summer with personal stuff and he really deserves it.
At first I was not a big fan of Vulkan but now, with all those thousand little details... man, this guy is awesome!

I really cursed in the beginning and in the end since there was no building plan and every part should be tested 3-4 times before it comes to the glue part.

The model is by ForgeWorld, branch of GamesWorkshop. Vulkan, Warhammer and everything else belongs to Games Workshop, except my working time.

This gets me so hyped to paint my own version of him! I have the model at home, prepared and everything! Just have to dial in my skills on painting green!

I struggled a lot before I started to paint. Actually it was a good choice to not build the model completely. Go, start paint him!

I can imagine! I will definetly paint him seperately from the base. The hide will also be a seperate project.

First i have to get home. I am living abroad right now, i might get a chance to work on him in march...

I did that as well. Base and Vulkan seperately. I also waited with his hammer-arm, the servopack and the cape and the second astartes of the base.
And the painted model on the forgeworld website was a great help for the colors.

It worked well on my Guilliman-build. Even though i kind of rushed trough it and painted him within a single day... But i will revisit most of the details to give him some extra bling!

You need to watch the YouTube series "If the Emperor had a text to speech device" to see a whole new level of Vulkan-awesome.
