Description
This is the scene right before Mark is assassinated. He was attacked at his job by the mafia, and escaped, and in order to keep his son safe, he had to pick him up early from a high school dance. (Kota has no idea what's going on.) There's other tarquines and humans in town from the agency who work undercover and protect him. Most of them are killed before Mark contacts them to get a line to the headquarters in Sky, the Capital City.Related content

Poor Kota doesn't know the gravity of the situation. You can clearly see the puzzlement in his eyes. The somewhat disheveled look of Mark tells of something serious but he can only wonder as I don't think he is answering any questions.
Snaps, this looks like one of those storyboard sketches from a traditional animated movie. Recently I've been getting some inspiration from them.
Oh, and love the hair on both of them. So much sizzling style, pssss.

And yup! I'm trying to get that look in pictures to where it looks like a shot from a movie scene, a lot like a storyboard yes! I'm going to do that once I get my digital art equipment.

What good would it have done for him to know the darker half of his father's life? It was best to keep him away from it as far as possible. He was just a kid afterall, a time when he should only have to think and worry about friends, having fun and school.
You're getting into digital media? Wow, you are going to make amazing stuff with it I know! Though I look forward to it, I hope you don't stop traditional drawings all together. They also have a special quality that is worth advancing.
Oh and just to clarify, I meant I am getting inspired by your drawings, not storyboards. Though since you are using those as influence then I guess indirectly I AM getting influence from storyboards myself jaja.
