Description
today on the sea shore. It's a very short exposure.. just to know when to push the button!Freezing my ass off, but I think it was worth it!

E D I T : The place: Europe (east side) - ROMANIA - Constanta (a city by the Black Sea shore) [ ~Constanta for some more ] A concrete pier made of the same structural modules as in the "January 2005" photograph. Camera: Canon G6 ISO 50, shutter speed 1/2000 and the apreture I think it was around 4 (quite sunny and so I got the intense blue). For more like this go see [link] (from last year with ma "crapcam"

O.O veeeeery nice! The best part I like about it is, the rocks (are those icicles?) almost dont seem real, they look like a picture out of a fantasy story from a cave under the sea.... Very beautiful, you really do know when to push the button

thanks!! Yup it's like a fairytale land... even the cold wind is almost unreal
Quite a home for winter sea dragons that blow ice and snow instead of fire...

Very nice. Some people think nature photography is easy, beacuse nature does most of the work for you, I however beg to differ, otherwise, there wouldn't be a lot of poorly done nature shots.
This however, is wonderful. it reminds me of some stuff from my own gallery.
I have only one issue, and that's with the grain in the sky. however I cannot offer any practical advice on how to remove it. But since the sky isn't a main element of the picture, it's not that noticeable, our eyes being drawn to the splash, iceicles, and shore.
You have made something that would have been seemingly so dull and boring, into something beautiful and dynamic. Congradulations

Thanks!
I think the slight grain in the sky is from the jpeg compression. The actual image is really big and therefore there's no problem with the wide blue areas. ( 7.1 Mpixel camera) but I resized it to 800/600 at 72 dpi (the image without the border) so people could see it over the net. Most of my images are 200 kb or under for traffic purposes. Browse my gallery for more icy stuff... (you can see the last year's ice shots with my old camera... a 2 Mpixel no-name cam)

Oh my god..
Can anyone get a better shot?
Can the Nature provide a better Shot?
I Think not...
Amazing work.

Fine place, although yet a bit rough. But I love it this way. From sea to mountains 2500m high, we got them all! And quite wild and natural too even if you find McDolnads or Kill the Fuc*ing Chicken in the main cities 'n stuff. But you can look the other way then
Warm in the summer, cold in winter. 4 seasons and everything. Come!

*grins* I'd love to come, but's it's expensive to buy plane tickets. We were gonna go last summer, for my sisters high school graduation present, but I had a lot of health problems. So we couldn't go. Hopefully I'll eventually be able to get over there. :3 I know a little bit of Romanian, but nothing -to- useful. Mostly old childerns nursery rhymes my dad taught us. XD "Dance, dance, dance, boy, because you look like a cucumber." Or... "It's raining, it's pouring, the old women are laying eggs." Useful, ne?
I -do- know how to say "yes"... o.o; Not much I know, huh? XD; Not sure how to spell anything though... *coughs*

Chill out girl! all tha cool kids here speak english. Besides.. you might learn some new stuff real quick! like... how to say "no"
You just hang on with that health thing! (I wish I could go to Santa Monica in June... but it's like a crapzillion $ to pay for the flight and for the staying.. so I'm not so sure about that...
)

It's still fun to learn new languages anyways, even if it's hard.
I'm trying my best with my health. Damn my back. <_< Four herniated disks for three years are -no- fun at all. x_x; Oh, well, we're working on it. ^^
