Description
today on the sea shore. It's a very short exposure.. just to know when to push the button!
with the digital camera delay and all that.. Freezing my ass off, but I think it was worth it!

E D I T : The place: Europe (east side) - ROMANIA - Constanta (a city by the Black Sea shore) [ ~Constanta for some more ] A concrete pier made of the same structural modules as in the "January 2005" photograph. Camera: Canon G6 ISO 50, shutter speed 1/2000 and the apreture I think it was around 4 (quite sunny and so I got the intense blue). For more like this go see [link] (from last year with ma "crapcam"

Indeed, you snapped it perfectly! It's tougher with digital cameras as you mentioned...awhile back I was trying to get shots of model rockets launching, and it was painful

There are actualy some cameras that go from power off to the snapshot in 0.7 seconds. Contax with lenses by Kyocera.. search some info on the net. But for now my G6 does a good job at -10Β°C although Canon people say it doesn't work below 0Β°C

Hell yeah thats an amazing shot. I never saw the sea freeze myself, but I saw some pics of a few decades ago (apparently winters were more harsh around here back then) and it just looks neat.
