I know I said I wasn't going to make any more characters but that was before I knew of the existence of sengis. Also known as elephant shrews - though surprisingly, they are more related to elephants than to shrews. This was originally for griffsnuff 's contest but I don't really think entering it would've had a point so here.

Pieter is rarely called by his real name, he is nicknamed Domino thanks to those spots from his nose to his tail base. Like most sengis, he isn't really social - but a certain burrowing owl doesn't think that's a reason to not claim he is her best friend. Pieter often tries to hide from Hiboulin but his spots don't really help. He's actually scared of her even though they're roughly the same size and Hiboulin isn't smart enough to catch anything bigger than an insect.

Sengis and burrowing owls don't actually live in the same areas but shhh
