Previous reference sheets
About time!
The previous reference sheet was the thing listed above. And while the design didn't change, I sure did master the anatomy better... Heck, it seems I wasn't happy with it to begin with. So here goes! A new Rookan reference sheet.
Also, this is a pretty good example of general Aigippus anatomy
These are about the right general proportions!Sorry for randomly having it update and pop up into people's inboxes again, that was an accident
)Rookan is my alternative fursona, while Bienie is my main. Bienie is the one with an anthro form and can be drawn with my friends and significant other's main fursonas, while Rookan is feral only and usually isn't really drawn with others. Rookan doesn't represent me as literally as Bienie does, but is more animal-like in a few aspects, and I have a strong connection to this character. Rookan's physical appearance was influenced by what I think I would actually look like as an animal if I was one.

Rookan looks so cute here, and the anatomy is so much easier to see compared to the last reference!
I'll have to practice drawing equines before I draw Rookan [and my old character I made forever ago xD]

I wanted a random name that wasn't picked by meaning! So I kinda thought about it as I sketched concepts for a small equine in my sketchbook, and then I got the name Rookan in my mind, and it just stuck

Yea, it often takes me ages to make new reference sheets... So many of my characters will probably never get a new one, or only in years
For my regular characters I have some with more common names, but when it comes to fursonas, I tend to be picky with names
