For the Fawning Contest hosted by minkin-arpg , featuring Zartan and FeatherySpirit 's Iona! They are not a couple, but they are offering as friends Iona has been Zartan's friend since they first met here and they decided to give it a go.

Iona and Zartan just made it to the Nursery Shrine. It has been a long, long travel, and they did not make it before sunset. The stars were already out in the sky, but luckily the moons lit their path.
Iona is offering a flowercrown and necklace that she made out of purple flowers, which are her favourite kind. She hopes that the time she spent making them shows her dedication that she would put into a child's education.
Zartan took a different approach this time and went to a place with vine-like plants, where he stayed for a while until the plants grew on him. By waiting out the plant growing, he wants to show that he is willing to sacrifice his time and freedom for a child.

That being said, the fact that he had to stay in one place and move very little for quite a while has had an impact on his physical condition - it meant he could not train himself for the journey to the mountains. As a result, he is exhausted by his arrival (or were the plants just draining his life energy? We will never know, those nasty plants), and Iona has to try and cheer her friend up again.
This took quite a while, but in a way I am fond of that background! Lights, and fffff And Xenith's two moons that I had to draw since I learned it was a thing It's fun to try different atmosphere settings!
This was great practice, I hope this turned out alright

Shhh shut up no I did not forget to add sparkles again at first shh no it's all a lie /cries
