My dreams are like the birds. They fly so close...

...And yet, just out of my reach.

They seem to not realize the other is there.. Either that, or they do, and they're just posing for a photoshoot. Originally, this was meant to be a "back-to-back but not in the same scene" sort of thing (Like you'd see in a cartoon or music video). But their hair sort of touched, and I liked that and decided to make it the same scene after all.

They can try to pretend Astro doesn't have dreams in the show, but we know better. There are some things Astro isn't allowed to do (travel overseas, fall in love with a human, go on a blimp without authorization). But when he does break those rules, it isn't to be bad, it's to save some humans that need him. (Okay, so the blimp thing was a not-all-that-good-boy thing to do, but he still took responsibility for his actions, and managed to save people regardless.)

I used to be perplexed as to how someone would make textures such as this, but I looked in my 'different paintbrushes' collection, and found some good ways to make the sand and cloud textures. Who knew? It's easier than it looks!
