I always wanted to know more about Phone Guy. I never believed he was evil. If there was a way to save him, I'd try it. He may not be completely innocent, but he comes across as someone who trusted the wrong person and ended up knowing too much. William may be a murderer, but he seems like the type of person to take someone under his wing who needs a father figure... And then of course, manipulate them to his heart's content. I headcanon that Phone Guy may be an abuse victim, so the things William is saying or doing feels familiar to him. ... Lying is a survival strategy in that situation. And even though Phone Guy lies for the company, you can tell he's basically telling you to get out of there while you can.

I don't know, I just see too much hate for this poor employee. He's been slandered since 2014, but even after evidence that he isn't the murderer came out, some people still think he's a bad guy...
