It's been exactly one year since my dad left to work abroad, and I really miss him, so I drew this to get the lonely feelings out. Marceline just seems to understand my feelings in this department.

It's a song about stolen fries in an cartoon about an boy and his magic dog adoptive brother having adventures in an postapocalyptic world inhabitat by living candy, pervert ice wizards and lich possessed snails...

But it's none the less a sad song.
I think that frie eating is symbolic for not caring enough. But Marci and her dad reunited now wich makes me happy.

Keep in mind that your dads work abroad will come to an end and he'll come home. Simply look forward for his return and I bet the time will pass faster^^

This is the best picture of Marceline and her dad that I've ever seen. Mostly because of a theory about the show and that particular aspect of it that I'm about to share with you.
If you know Adventure Time very well, you'd know that Ooo is part of a post-apocalyptic world. The Great Mushroom War is what ended the world as we know it, however, there are three known survivors; The Ice King, Marceline, and her dad. One theory is that Marceline's dad made a deal with an evil force to help Marceline survive, even though at the same time, he may have been part of the cause of the war, which is why he is known as "The Lord of All Evil" rather than the Lich. This picture plays on that theory very well.
In other words, great job.

Ahaha, thank you! I really wasn't thinking of the entire backstory of Adventure Time while I was drawing, but you've brought up a great point. 0: I don't really think that Marceline's dad would have to make a deal to help Marceline survive (since I think they were vampires before the end of the war), but I do believe that he would do anything to protect her and to raise her to be like him (so that she can be independent in the end). Not to say that the theory is wrong, it's just not convincing to me! It's a charming notion though, I'm glad you could connect the picture to this idea. :>
