For this piece, I was using aΒ Β 6"x4"Β Wacom Graphire 4 Tablet in Photoshop Elements 3.0, which is probably the lowest tech stuff you could possibly use ahaha. I don't think you can get a Graphire 4 anywhere anymore since it's such an old model (about 7 years old now I believe). An "equivalent" would be Wacom Bamboo, as it's the lowest quality tablet from Wacom that you can get at the moment.
Currently I'm using a 10"x6" Monoprice Tablet in Photoshop CS6! Monoprice is relatively cheap and has very good sensitivity, so I definitely consider it a worthy purchase. :V Mine was $75, and it's a good size. It's better than a Wacom Bamboo, although a little lower tech than an Intuos. Might want to look into it!
(Photoshop downloads are easy to find torrents/downloads for. Right now, the only Photoshop that Adobe offers is the Cloud version, which is subscription based and will leave you BROKE. Do a little digging in google and you should find a download soon enough! Good luck to you!)
