yea I'm rubbish at competitive games so I guess to answer your question "I wouldn't." honestly the only situation I can think of where a holographic screen would be better than a normal one is during combat. a physical screen could potentially brake. and it would allow for larger screens without the added weight.Β and in the military every pound matters.

Yeah now adays the see through thing is just used just to show something is in the far future, tho a floating solid screen that you can stretch the edges manually to desired size and change on and off transparency would be the dream.

not sure how feel about that kind of screen. though I guess in practice the screen could be made of a transparentΒ material that stretches not unlike pantyhose doΒ then have the image projected from behind and points along the sheet would act like fiber optics and catch the light. tough you'd have to wright a ton of code to prevent image clarity from dropping, and even then you could make the screen only so big before the pixels would be spread to much again like how when stretched you can see through pantyhose.
