Description
Continuing on the pig-tails theme. Looks like she doesn't appreciate the comparison implied here (although maybe an ironing board would have been more fitting than an actual iron).Related content

Yeah, nobody deserves to be compared to household appliances.

The colloquial expressive here in the UK tends to be "two aspirins on an ironing board", but that might be a little too specific
I'm growing very attached to the thicker line style for these sketches. Your oekaki art tends to be very neat and precise, whereas these sketches show a more "human" element, if you know what I mean... because the lines are thicker and the art is simplistic, it gives a brilliant contrast to your meticulous oekaki stuff. If I was able to get my point across there without sounding like I was actually badmouthing your ability on both counts (I genuinely wasn't ).
Also - 42 sketches. Das a lot.

There's more than 42 sketches, but some don't count and probably won't end up getting posted. I don't think anyone wants to see my version of a frat boy alien, or a bug man riding a mecha-teapot.
I'm glad you like these sketches. They might be a little wonky, but I hope they have some charm.

"I don't think anyone..."
You underestimate me and my flamboyant tastes in whimsy.
No, I'll take what I can get. It's always fun to see you trying new styles (even if you can't technically consider 'scribbling with limited ink' to be a new style per se).

Ouch!
And an ironing board might have been, but it's much more vague an object to put in a word balloon. I think the iron works fine.
(And I keep thinking of FEMA Death Camp every time I see punk girls from you... )

Hah, she could be getting bad-mouthed by Taylor (the purple and pink haired girl in "All Access"). It seems like she'd have less use for a girl like this than the well-endowed Dawn.

Ha.
Keep hoping to see Dawn again...

I have a scene in mind of Dawn and Irene in that motel room bed. Maybe someday I'll see if I can get another installment out of it.

...You know, you're probably the only artist whom I could read the phrase "[two women] together in a motel bed" and immediately envision something completely innocent yet drop-dead sexy.

Something along those lines :] Well, the innocent part at least. The drop-dead sexy part is entirely subjective.

Not when you're drawing it. Besides, I saw Dawn and Johnny's Sister; they'd hardly even have to try.

The best I can do now though is make a note of it so I remember when I find the time.
