Since I gave away a quite a few of my sprites to the ACDQ marathon I had room to make a few more Perler pieces. One of the pieces I gave away was my AbyssWolf Link piece. I felt I was missing a Zelda piece made with Perler beads so I came up with this.The sprite is half mine and half not mine. ZeldaGirl on SpriteStich did an excellent stitching of this. She posted the image used hereh . I did some clean up on the image since it had a lot of anti-aliasing in it that doesn't work too well for the limited colors we have to work with. I suck at spriting so was in there with a 1 pixel brush re-coloring and fixing this up for a few hours.
Anyways, I like it. I realize I didn't include an object for size reference, but this thing is about 44" tall or about 8 pegboards tall.

Dude this is amazing! Mad props. I would love to see the image you used to make this. Wind Waker is my favorite game of all. I love this game so much that i made my own guide book complete with maps and everything. If its not too much trouble could you please post a copy of the image you used to make this? Thank you.

Impressive. I keep wanting to do Link on the boat, but I don't quite want to do it that big and I can't get it looking good making it smaller. Yours is about 2 1/2 times as big as the biggest piece I've ever done (I tend to stick around 5000 beads).

Yeah, I am not good at creating sprites, the only way I can do it if it is big enough where you don't have to start making cuts in the details too much. I compensated by getting decent at making big pieces.

Yeah, the space I have for beading is kinda small. Generally have a hard time going larger than 3x4 or 3x5 boards.
I've started working on making my own patterns, both to accomodate size and to branch out beyond just using existing sprites.

Yeah, it has a few Hama colors and the sail uses quite a bit of Nabbi Ash Grey

I think Perler because Hama don't have dark grey color.
