Description
This started out as one of many practice sketches I've been doing as part of a larger project (guess that cat's out of the bag). I liked this one so much I decided to do more with it; I inked the pencil sketch, blew it up on a photocopier, then traced the lines back out on a clean sheet of paper. This is also my very first attempt at a completely traditional piece; no digital editing whatsoever.

Shanka is a Tikedi from Oros in the webcomic Prophesy of the Circle: Tangent by talon333. He tends to be quiet and introspective but lacks his brother's confidence which causes him to balk rather than take action when he needs to.
