Description
Every year, I see children books about Santa Claus , Christmas and being "good".I wanted to make it as a fake children book/comic book cover. About Christmas, but not about Santa Claus, but about one of his original companions.
I some countries of Europe, Saint Nicholas had a companion called "Krampus". he had a demoniac appearance, coming in Christmas to punish bad children, or even taking them away.
I just thought about this pic, wondering if a bad little girl could make a deal with Krampus, to help him in Christmas night, in order to not being took away...

Never heard that story of the Krampus before but you made the cover here look so interesting I'm sure you'd get some buyers.

I saw some weird old X-mas cards, where Saint Nicholas and Krampus arrive together... So, Santa thought it was OK to hang around with Krampus... I supose he just sit and watched while Krampus punished naughty children...

Guess Santa has his own game plan when it comes to Christmas and it sounds rather fun with Krampus around, lol. Old Xmas cards though eh? That's interesting, wonder why they don't continue the story of Krampus anymore.

Hehe, yes, he is a being banished from "official" Christmas mythology...
I read the TV series "Supernatural" will have a Christmas episode, having Krampus as the episodeΒ΄s monster...

yeah, he sure is. here in sweden we had some similar character before Coca Cola invented Santa, he was a goat or something that represented the devil and he came and scarred the shit out of the kids and then gave them presents... or something like that...

There was a dual reference in the old arcade lightgun game CarnEvil, in which one of the bosses was Krampus, a monstrously-mutated Santa Claus. Until I saw the description for this pic, I never understood the name. XD
