I shpuld clarify: Rin is very similar to me. Rin isn't me, but my friend who introduced the game to me was sort of like: "This girl reminds me of you Em."

Yes, I identify closely with Rin. I'm not a big gamer or anything, but I played Tenchu for a time. Rin (while not identical by any means) is a very similar type of person. So I tend to identify with her very well.
