This is Captain Will Turner aboard the ill-fated ship the Christabel. Will is awesome as Davy Jones, I think that ending to AWE redeemed the entire trilogy. I hope they make a fourth movie set during or after Will's ten years as captain of the Dutchman.

I love the details and colors -- those are very hard to do! Remarkable work, really. Excellent lines and just...ah!
I don't know how to explain it! This piece really has a distinct feel to it, and the emotions are very clear.
I have only ONE problem with the picture, and it's very, very small. His face looks a bit flat, but the rest of it is superb.

Maybe I can help you a bit with explaining the feel of it. I looked at a lot of old fashioned illustration, like the stuff by Howard Pyle and Harry Clarke. I read some Coleridge poetry too. If you read the story to go with it in the link above ^ , I think it makes more sense
