Description
This was surprisingly easy to weave once I got a few units in - I thought the tiny rings in this Beez to Butterflies weave would be difficult to fold over and link to the adjacent unit. This is more dense than I usually go for in this weave, and the result was a very clean and stable chain. It's very slinky on one axis, and almost immobile on the other (the picture shows as far as it will bend without distorting any rings). It took 7-8ish hours for a 7 inch chain (almost exactly 600 rings)Stats:
24g 5/64" sterling
22g 5/64" copper

This is without a doubt, my most favorite piece of jewelry. Um, ever! I LOVE the microness of it and how delicate it appears!

now, do you use the method of beez to butterflies where you make it unit by unit, or do you "sew it up"?

I use the 1st method you describe, I just think "beez to butterflies" is a really stupid name for a weave so I changed it to the "byzantine ladder" name

awww, there's nothing wrong with a stupid name for a weave. My personal favorite is "Rhinos snorting Draino"
I use a sewing up approach to the weave that allows for a lower A.R. and is a little bit easier.
Great piece!

Now they are small rings! I was trying to make a small Beez to Butterflies last week but gave up after using to large a rings. Awesome job on this!
