Description
Vector work without background this time.Adobe Illustrator. Close to 500 layers.
Took ages to complete. Combination of gradient mesh and normal vector with transparencies thrown in to make a 'dirty' look of wear and tear !
Please view scrap for outline detail.

ive always loved the Tornado simply because it was one of the first Fighters to have thrust reverse. Awesome render yo! Thinky ou can do an F-14D for me? ill give you the paint scheme and such.

FYI glad to tell you for my next vector work I'll be doing a Felix Squardon, Tom Catter. But it will be an F14-A though ! It wont be a fast vector as I'll be working on it in my office with my MAC, as my home PC can't simply handle tons of layer !!

Thanks for the reference photo. But I do need a bigger photo to get the exact detail.
Anyway, I got my own image - a centerspread from a magazine, and I shall be using that for my tomcat.
But just my luck when I tried to scan the photo. my scanner broke down. I'' try to get it scanned this weekend. And in the mean time...this is what I'm currently working on : [link]

I could see it taking forever. Adobe Illustrator takes a lot of patience. It's not a hard program to use, at least I haven't found it to be. But gawd what patience.
