Description you all probably hate me now for my "piece of coding" stamps I keep uploading. truth be told, I dunno which version I like more. the Porygon one is nice, but since Porygon is a human made Pokemon, and has to do with virtual reality, I figured "generated piece of coding" with a Porygon next to it, relates more to the Porygon than to coding that makes Pokemon in the games as I intended. the multiple animation shows more poke's, but perhaps its just too much? Maybe I'm just paranoid

Basically, pokemons are nothing more than a few lines of randomly generated coding that cannot show affection or love back to you in any way possible, they're not even aware of your existence, yet I love mine just the same...

Someone stole a game with over 400 Pokemon in it from me once, and more recently I thought I'd lost another 100. These kind of things tend to happen to me a lot for some reason.

I guess this is why I've been carrying around most of the pokemon I catched since Gen 3 (which for me is just a year and a half since that's when I actually started playing pokemon  ) ! I just love them way to much <3

As for the last part in the description, I guess you can say that we now have Amie to solve that.

Ah, pokemon Aime.  Yes, and as soon as I heard about it, I knew it was too late for me.  I have already opened up my eyes to the reality of what they are, seeing the Amie just...I don't know how to explain it, I guess just makes the illusion seem more fake in my perspective.  Like they're really trying to make you think your pokes love you, but its still just as it ever was: Coding.

Also, professional battling/breeding knocked out the last of any strong connections I would have had with them

Of course, this express the emotions of many people

Did you do a Stamp like this, but with a Fairy-Type Pokémon?

Wakerra In reply to LuckyTogekiss [2014-06-13 05:36:34 +0000 UTC]

No, this stamp and the others in the collection (I think I have them all linked in the artist comments) were made years ago, well before fairy type was introduced

Pokemon amie makes them even more lovable! Or less lovable and more terrifying in the case of mr mime...

psh lol.  Or Jynx

Honestly, after doing serious competitve training/breeding and realizing just how expendable pokemon are, I look at Pokemon Aime and it could care less.  I'm sure years ago when I was so into my Sapphire version I would have loved Pokemon Aime, but that personal attachment to my coding has faded...Sad to some, unheard of to others I'm sure.  Heck, I could probably get flammed by many just for saying it, but pokemon really are just bits of pixels and polygons.  The may imitate happiness etc, but they honestly can't feel anything.  They aren't even aware of our existance, who we are, what we look like, etc.  The magic has worn off for me, now I'm more logical with the games than casual

Wakerra In reply to LuckyTogekiss [2014-06-13 05:34:57 +0000 UTC]

perhaps.  In a sense I "love" my IVed Togekiss with Serene Grace and Air Slash, but more so in the fact that its amazing in battles

LuckyTogekiss In reply to Wakerra [2014-06-13 05:40:28 +0000 UTC]

I see...

I have two Togekiss, the Original and the IVed.

I don't want to "trash" the Original, not just because I Love Togekiss, he helped me in the entire Game!

And it's the same for many of my Pokémon, I love all of them.

To me, Pokemon are not just pixels and data.

To me, they are living creatures with thoughts and feeling.

Pokemon may be blobs of pixels attached to code, but they don't feel like they are. They feel like real creatures. You get attached to them and love them, and eventually, you can't bear to give them away.

It says this because Pokemon are randomly generated peices of coding since they're in video games and not real. ^^ I hope this helped into understanding this stamp!
