15 Jan: i've gone back in Ostuni for New Year's Day some days...I found that man in the same posture on the balcony and i was already smiling waiting for the lady;
i was walking looking in his eyes, my attention to the door behind him, from the beginning of the alley as far as down his balcony and he did the same: "good evening" i said, he didn't answer and i've noticed for the first time he was blind in one eye. I've noticed another thing too: on the wall, behind him, where i was waiting her getting out, put on the wall in a very accurate way there was a funeral announcement with a female name;
i haven't understood yet if it's been influence or what but i've seen a very different face, a very old looking in him;
For me they were there yet, on the balcony, receiving the fresh air that always turns around in those alleys...
now i'm thinking that time ago i put a funny title on the shot and now something funny there's no more.
Then people say a photograph stops the time...
