Ahh, I've finally caved and gotten a DA account. Side 7 just seems rather dead these days. ^_^; But anyway, since this is one of my favorite (and probably best) works, I figured I'd post it first.Did this for a drawing class I took a couple of years ago. It was the last assignment of the semester, and we were basically allowed to do whatever we want as an ink painting. I had gotten this idea for a pic after seeing an Inuyasha doujinshi about Sesshoumaru and Rin. Dark loner and sweet little girl. Fits, ne? XP So I spent about 10 hours drawing, inking, and then painting this sucker, and it turned out quite nice. A few mess-ups where the ink bled, but meh... >.> I love painting, just wish I had time to do it more. @.@
On another note, I have a Christmas-y fic based loosely on this image titled "Sweet and Sour." Its very cute and very funny, and is now here on dA! [link]
Read it, or you'll make Cream sad. And then Shadow might have to kill you. Or something. XD;

wow dats actually better than wat im thinkin u should make one of shadow bein like a big brother to cream. I LUV cream and shadow but i always know that shadow is actually nice but covers it up by bein emo ^.^

I like the effects of the ink... Especially on Shadow. Makes his fur really look black, without looking flat. (black fur is so hard to color XD)
Instant joy when looking at this. 
I bet Cream can get past the defenses of any stoic tough guy (or girl)! She acts so completely defenseless herself, Shadow could never hurt somebody that innocent ^^
I think he needs an excuse to smile a little! He looks so awkward, but it's not like he's trying to stop her
