He’s a very sensitive, gentle old-fashioned bear who is totally definitely absolutely a prince in disguise. Scared of loud noises and allergic to bees.

it really reminds me of this old book i read called East of the sun west of the moon and ice or snow
something of the like and it was really weird becasue i remember reading like 2 different books and two different authors but it was the same story, but i really liked them but they got dull at the middle and i never finished
but i love Valemon, the polar bear son

East of the Sun and West of the Moon is a semi-popular fairytale, probably the most famous version of beauty and the beast as told in another country. So those books you read mustve been based on the same story. I know sun and moon and ice and snow, and its definitely not the worst (that honour belongs to Ice where the girl and the bear have a very rapey relationship), but I know what you mean about it being dull.

I REMEMBER THAT IN ICE OH MY GOODNESS I COULDNT FINISH THAT, i started to read east of sun,west of moon, and yeah it indeed got dull for my 6th grader short attention span at the time, and needing to be stimulated by books like gregor the overlander (which i very very V E RY strongly recommend the series, its by the same other who did the hunger games it was her first series and i think its far superior to the hunger games series in my opinion)
but you have already peeked my intrest and i am quite excited to see where you go with this story
