When you look back at Bushroot's history, it's definitely sad that he turned into a villain, instead of trying to use his powers for a positive cause. On the other hand, I don't think very many people would like the idea of being turned into plant mutants, so Bushroot's ambition would be doomed to fail anyway.

Dr. Reginald Bushroot was a brilliant botany professor who believed he had discovered a way to solve the world's hunger crisis by transferring a plant's power to create nourishment from sunlight into an animal. With funding running low, Reginald used himself as the guinea pig for his experiment. While the process was technically a success, it also mutated Reginald's body, transforming him into a hybrid of avian and plant. Discovering he had gained a telepathic rapport with all plant life, Reginald began a streak of revenge, using his new powers to terrorize those who had once mocked and humiliated him.

Sounds good but I change a couple of things. I make so he wants to solve the hunger problems by transferring the plantβs sunlight nourishment into people. That way thereβs no need to eat. Food companies (run by F.O.W.L.) didnβt like idea of losing billions so they discredit the Dr and sendΒ Major Synapse to kill Reginald. The major injects Bushroot with all his serum to make look like a suicide but it turns him Bushroot
