Description
Rose comes from M. Bison's attempts to master the evil energy known as Psycho Power. In order to hone his telekinesis, Bison chose to discard what he viewed as the 'weak' parts of his soul. These fragments later reformed into Rose, the physical embodiment of Bison's 'good' half. Rose first appeared in Street Fighter Alpha, as she searched the world for Bison in order to eradicate his evil power. At the end of the game, Rose engages Bison in combat and seemingly kills him. Sometime later, Rose consults her tarot cards and learns that Bison survived the attack.
Rose's last appearance was in Street Fighter Alpha 3. At the climactic moment of the game, she faces Bison once more and rams her fist through his chest, channeling her energy into his body. As Bison grapples with Rose, he reveals that they both share half of "the same soul". In the end, Rose is outmatched by Bison and collapses from exhaustion. Soon afterward, she is recovered by Guy and taken to safety. Although it appears that Bison has been killed, he has actually transferred his consciousness into Rose, effectively reclaiming her body.
Between the Alpha series and Street Fighter II, Bison remained inside Rose's body until his scientists formed a new (albeit weaker) one for him. Bison appears as the final boss of Street Fighter II, though Rose's ultimate fate is left up in the air.
