Description
This a custom of Nightbird from Transformers. She appeared in one cartoon in the original 80's show and didn't transform into anything. I used the arcee prime mold and added the mask with sculpt. Everything is hand painted.Related content

yeah i bought the arcee prime a little while ago and was surprised on how expensive it was with it only being a year or 2 since the show first came out. but if you ever make more and feel like selling lol

How Did you get it so smooth, I'm Trying to make one of my own Based on Your Design and Between that and the Eye's It's Really frustrating.

Trying out different brushes, hard brush or soft. Also different paints. Some manufacturers make better colors tha others

Thanks For the advice i found some thing that worked for me, but do you have Β any tips for the eyes?
Like, when you Sculpted the mouth Piece did you do the eyes too or did you paint them over the original face?

I'm going to HEAVILY modify the head, if I can get away with it- I obviously don't want to screw up the Transformation.

which mold are you using. the 1st edition or the new one. they transform different. the one i used were the 1st editions.

I'm not sure, actually- I've yet to get it. My friend owes me some money, so he's agreed to get me a Megatron and two Arcee figures, so I guess I'll know when he gives them to me.

oh ok. if you get the 1st edition there's not much you can do to the head because it goes inside the body when it transforms. the new one is good for head mods, it basically stays in place and is covered by the wings. i'm using that as a base for elita-1

the second is smaller and more girl looking to me at least. plus the 1st editions are expensive. go to youtube and type arcee prim review and you'll see all kinds of reviews that compare the 2 and it'll give you a chance to see the transformation too

Yeah, the 'TF: Prime' figure is one of the few Arcees that actually works really well as Nightbird.

I used model master for the chrome, poly scale for the grey and purple, and testors for the gold
