Such an original idea, and everything - from the expressions, to the details - it is enough to make me clutch my heart in feeelingsss.
You perfectly captured the wonder in Wind Waker! Under the water, they are the hero and the princess, but above, they are only known as the island boy and the pirate. Hyrule wasn't the only thing they sealed away. They also sealed away their true identities, their burdens left behind.Β

Pretty original as far as I've seen. I love how the water makes a transition, from the old hyrule to their current world. The way you have their clothing shifting from their 'hero' cloths to there everyday current cloths really shows the difference between the worlds. Having the bow and shield under the water is a nice detail, like they're leaving the battle behind, and heading off to the future.Β
Tetra's expression is great, and they way they're making eye contact really brings some warmth into this picture. You can tell they've both been through a lot here ^^
