You can [not] resist the anticipation. Or the shoehorned references.I painted two things in anticipation of Kirby Planet Robobot (one of them of Kirby being hardcore and the other of gijinka Kirby standing in front of a familiar mech ) So for this one I wanted to draw gijinka Kirby sitting on another familiar mech that I was reminded of.

Well no offense, but it doesn't look EVA-like to me at all. EVA units are actually Cyborgs, and are way bigger, and have more monster-like faces.

I do agree that the robot itself could look more EVA-like (especially because prior to Planet Robobot's announcement, I'd never drawn Mechas before, and didn't know how to mechanize things). I'll keep that in mind if I make more artistic references to them!
