PRINT NOW AVAILABLE ON DeviantART.Hey everyone! So... I decided to do a lil study for myself to help understand certain things about the female shape and form better (stomach in particular). Im no expert at anatomy, so theres definitely more accurate interpretations out there by other artists, but thought Id share it with you all anyway.

EDIT UPDATE - Discovered a line I didnt connect that carries on from the ribs, passed the hips and runs down into the leg muscle that reaches the knee area.

Ok. Seriously - what's going on with her spine? I know there is a huge difference between drawing and reality (and I haven't seen many girls in such poses), but I think this is just too much. I beleive you can draw women that will look sexy without distorting her body.

Although this shows a rare, idealized anatomy, it is a valid one.
There are (young, ~22-25 yrs) women of 1.65 - 1.70m height who match this shape quite closely.
Very good work, and I have to contradict you in one way - you ARE an expert in anatomy.

I don't know what I can say that hasn't already been said, but speaking for myself I really value it when other artists share their preliminary works with the community. It's always fascinating to see how other figures are put together, thought out, and moved around.
In fact, I think I may have to adjust some of my own techniques, now I've seen yours. Her feet are excellent--suggested but very definately shaped.

you are a master when it comes to the female body!! i love the way you do breasts, hips and thighs (and im not saying those coz im a pervert) i prefer it tho when u do bodies like with the swimsuit eri, her torso is perfect and her hips and breast balance and fit well, some of the females you do (and im not trying to be critical or an asshole just sharing my opinion) there waists are quite small and the hips stick out and the stomach seems a little sunken, almost like the bottom right hand one, it kind of makes the breasts and thighs seem huge, it tends to look a tiny but too skinny, but i guess thats just a matter of preference, but thats just me rambling, its your style but thought id just share, i love your stuff dude cant wait to see more!
