Tried working out a body for my alien species. I'd love to hear what you guys think of it! Also, I need to find something to have the alien wear. Like an accessory. Is there anything you'd like to see?Basic info:
- The alien stands around 8-9 ft
- The aliens are of only one gender (though neither male or female), and reproduce asexually. They do not have any genitalia, and their young are hatched.
- Their mandibles contain a venom strong enough to kill a full grown man. Larger prey/enemies are only paralyzed by the venom.
- Their heavy tails are used for combat and "cracking coconuts".
- The extra fingers on top of the alien's hand is used in combat and for picking berries.
-The species are omnivorous, but their main diet consists of meat.
- The species aren't very strong physically, but they are fast and agile. Their finger-like feet allow them to travel through the trees, and to run great distances.
-Though mostly a species of a docile personality, the aliens are very territorial and will kill anything that enters its home, or threatens its young.
- They hunt and sleep alone, but travel in packs. Aliens that settle down in a particular nest looses contact with its pack.

I like the idea. It reminds me of one of my alien concepts. Does it have a civilized faction? Are there wild versions of this alien running around?
Also, it could have a sash across the shoulder or maybe a necklace with some sort of use.
The only problem I have with it is the tail. It looks like it would slow down the creature because of the weight.

Well, that depends on what you consider civilized. They live and travel in huge packs of up to 50 aliens. There is an elder in the group, but they don't lead them. They only preform their duties which consists of guarding the eggs and healing the sick. They have their own language consisting of growls, roars and gurgling, and they expand their territory as they travel. They're a ferocious species, but they do live by a set of rules.
They are a wild species. There are however aliens who have separated from their pack.
It might, but it's a very practical weapon.

I would actually consider that a form of civilization. Rudimentary civilization, but still civilization. Could be the beginning of a more advanced one, kind of like our own.

Oooh, they're pretty cool looking! Love the coloration and markings (Brown ftw). Imo they still look pretty capable of doing some bad damage, unless the other species they live with are tall as them as well haha
How exactly does the extra finger work? Is it positioned on top of the wrist, on the back of the hand? Also, the face looks a little weird with perspective, but that could also be its structure c:

They usually hunt smaller prey, and are not really hunting for the fight or challenge. So yeah, they can inflict quite the damage.
