I have this gadget reskinned via Freakquency's "Fade" setup, and I can't get the inbox on the gadget to display. It merely says, "No subject, loading..." and won't change.

Hi there,
this great and works fine.
But why I cannot drag it to the bottom of my screen?
it get's stuck in the middile of the screen when I drag it.
This happens with your Gmail reader also, any ideas why?
I've read in the comments there that other people have that problem too!

I'm trying to get this working with Google Apps. For apps, I have to put the username in like this:
User=user%40domain.com
Basically you are looking at:

Once that is done it gets the email fine. But there are two problems. It always says "unable to connect" at the top, even though it's connected. Also, when you click on an email, it goes to the standard gmail login and not the Google Apps email login. Anyway to fix these two issues?

Otherwise, this is the best looking gmail checker out there. I've tried every single one I can get a hold of. They all suffer from the google apps issue.

i can't drag it beyond halfway down my monitor. i wanted to place this skin on the lower right of my monitor. which values do i modify to make this possible?

right click on the skin, go to "skin Menu" then uncheck "keep on screen"
just one prob= if you get a few messages the will be offscreen

glad you like my skin, to have it open with the browser of your choice, do the following-
1. in the variables.inc file add:-
browser
for example-
browser=C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
or
browser=C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe
(i recommend chrome because its really fast)
2.Then open the skin file and look for [B1],[B2] etc
3.Then change the LeftMouseUpAction on each button to:- !Execute ["#browser#" [L1]], !Execute ["#browser#" [L2]] ect instead of:- [L1], [L2] ect.
heres the 1st button for example:-

ButtonImage=#BSZ#
X=6
Y=32
AntiAlias=1
LeftMouseUpAction=!Execute ["#browser#" [L1]]

Here the time display is 4 hours out so the summer winter time is not the problem. Cool that you think about the right and the left version and dont be affraid i will not ask you to turn it upside down...
But just 1 question is there a way to delete a mail without opening the mail account right from the skin, right click a message and it wont be show as unread???? something like that, so you can delete it next time you login in the account!?!?!?!

interesting about being four hours out, that must mean the feed gives us all the same time zone, i have no idea how to fix this, maybe with a substitute. and i wish i could mark mail as unread from the skin but i dont think this is possible, sorry.

could add "+4h" or "-1h" etc at end of string. thats all i can think. to do this just add Text="%1 #TimeAdjust#" to each date meter then have a variable TimeAdjust=-4
i know its not a great fix just an idea.

yes it is, all colors are in the "Variables.Inc" file, the only thing i should mension the yellow tab cant be transparrent

I just downloaded and tried it. It doesn't even come on. I'm the RainBrowser to load it up. It's indicating that the skin is loaded but nothing happens. I did edit the settings inside of the variables file so I don't know why it's not working. Oh, and I'm also using the beta 64 bit version of Rainmeter. Maybe that's the problem?

thats not the problem because im using 64 bit beta too. the beta RM is very stable. did you leave all the files in the folder, and have you tried loading the skin manually? (Right click on any skin open configs and choose skin)

I found the problem. It was hiding under my task bar. Now I came across a second problem. I get the unable to connect error. I put my user name and password in the variables file, but no success.

if your details are right but youve refreshed the skin a few times in the space of a few minutes googlemail temporarilly blocks you. this lasts aprox 10 minutes, so please close the skin for ten and try again.
